Not sure of the height , but edge of Half Dome at Yosemite


Hiked up the back side using steel cables and railroad ties they erect annually so people can get back and forth to the top relatively safely. Once on top I got within 4 or 5 feet of the edge, but that was close enough. Some guy was at the edge doing hand stands--trying to strengthen the gene pool I assume.
